We went to a gourd show in Florida and saw lots of amazing gourds. Luckily that same day we had gone to a park yard sale and purchased about 8 various size gourds. So as soon as we got home I started painting and woodburning some of them I expecially liked the bird house I made out of an apple gourd.

This is a gourd birdhouse I painted this winter in Florida.

Gretchen's new mailbox

Gretchen hopes to sign the final papers on her house friday, so I spent part of my day painting a mailbox for her. She wanted a nice big mailbox as she gets the "talking books" and other large packages.

I think its about time to head for Florida.

winter wonderland

"The weather outside is frightful" Well, not really, its mighty cold but so beautiful ! But it does make a great excuse to stay inside and work on my composition journals. Am really starting to get "into" them.
Also been using the computer to learn more about Paint Shop Pro. There is just so many things to "learn" and I get so frustrated when I can't figure it out.
